Navigate the CADchat left navigation

Overview

The left navigation gives you quick access to your Dashboard, Calendar, organizations, and shortcuts like Shared With Me, Recently Visited, and Bookmarked. You can expand or collapse it at any time.

Steps

  1. On any page, look at the left side of the screen for the navigation bar.
  2. Click Collapse (double arrow icon) at the bottom to switch between icon-only and full-label views.
  3. Click Dashboard to return to your activity overview.
  4. Click Calendar to see your scheduled meetings.
  5. Click an organization name to expand its space list.
  6. Click Shared With Me, Recently Visited, or Bookmarked to access those shortcut sections.

Additional details

  • Organizations appear in the left navigation as colored icon and name pairs. You may have more than one.
  • The Calendar page includes a mini calendar panel on the left side for quick date navigation.
  • Bookmarked spaces persist across sessions so you can always find your most-used spaces quickly.
  • Recently Visited updates automatically as you open spaces.

Troubleshooting

  • If organization names are not visible, click Expand to switch from icon-only mode.
  • If an organization you belong to is missing, sign out and sign back in to refresh your membership.
  • If Recently Visited is empty, you may not have opened any spaces in this browser.
