Restore a deleted space (Trash)
Overview
Deleted spaces are not permanently removed immediately. They are moved to the Trash and held for 30 days, giving you time to restore them if needed. Only you can access and restore your deleted spaces — other admins and members cannot see or restore them.
Steps
- In the left navigation, click your organization name to go to the organization page.
- Click Trash in the left sidebar under Folders.
- Find the space you want to restore.
- Hover over the space card and click the ... (more options) icon.
- Click Restore.
- The space is moved back to your organization and is accessible again at its original location.
Additional details
- Deleted spaces remain in Trash for 30 days. After 30 days they are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
- Only the person who deleted the space can see and restore it from Trash — not other admins or members.
- The Trash page uses the same Sort by and View As controls as the main Spaces page.
- If the Trash is empty, the page shows "Your trash is empty."
Troubleshooting
- If you cannot find a deleted space in Trash, it may have already passed the 30-day retention window and been permanently deleted.
- If the Trash option is not visible in the sidebar, make sure you are in the organization view (not the dashboard).
