Use the Whiteboard tab

Overview

The Whiteboard tab gives you a freeform canvas for sketching ideas, diagrams, and brainstorming. You can draw, annotate, and add sticky notes alongside your 3D models and documents.

Steps

  1. Open a space and click the Whiteboard tab.
  2. Use the toolbar on the left to select a tool:
    • Select — Select and move elements.
    • Pan — Click and drag to pan the canvas.
    • Draw — Freehand drawing.
    • Highlighter — Draw translucent highlight strokes.
    • Eraser — Erase elements.
    • Sticky Note — Place a colored sticky note and type text.
    • Text — Add a text label to the canvas.
    • Arrow — Draw an arrow between two points.
    • Shapes — Insert shapes such as rectangles and circles.
    • Upload — Upload an image to the whiteboard canvas.
  3. Use the zoom controls at the bottom of the canvas to zoom in or out.
  4. Use the undo/redo buttons at the bottom to step through changes.
  5. Click Boards in the left panel to switch between multiple whiteboard boards in this space.
  6. Click Threads in the left panel to see all threads placed on the whiteboard.

Additional details

  • Whiteboard content is visible to all collaborators in real time.
  • You can have multiple boards within the same space — each is a separate canvas.
  • Threads placed on the whiteboard work the same as on the 3D Canvas and Documents tab.

Troubleshooting

  • If drawn elements disappear, check that you are on the correct board in the Boards panel.
  • If the canvas feels sluggish, try zooming out to reduce the visible area being rendered.
