Schedule a meeting

Overview

You can schedule a CADchat meeting from the Calendar page or from within a space. Meetings are tied to a space, so all participants can view the same 3D models and documents during the call.

Steps

  1. Go to Calendar in the left navigation (or to the Meeting tab inside a space).
  2. Click + New Meeting (from the Calendar page) or Schedule a Meeting (from within a space).
  3. The Schedule Meeting modal opens. Choose New Space or Existing Space at the top.
    • New Space: Select an organization, enter a space name, and add invitees by email.
    • Existing Space: Select a space from the dropdown, then add invitees by email.
  4. Set the date and time using the date and time pickers.
  5. Under Send Calendar Invitations With, select Microsoft Outlook or Google Calendar.
  6. Click Schedule.

Additional details

  • All three fields in New Space mode are required: organization, space name, and at least one invitee email.
  • Invitees receive a calendar invitation with a direct link to join the meeting.
  • The host is listed automatically as the first invitee.
  • You can schedule a meeting for an existing space if the content is already set up.

Troubleshooting

  • If the Schedule button is greyed out, check that all required fields are filled in.
  • If invitees do not receive calendar invitations, verify their email addresses and ask them to check spam.
  • If Google Calendar or Outlook integration is not working, check your browser's popup settings.
